We’ve put together a few things you should know before you buy this original gift:
1. Occasion
For the perfect gift of an extreme experience, there is no need for an occasion! But still, among the most common are a gift for a birthday or name day, a gift for a prom, for St. Valentine’s Day or for a wedding (for the newlyweds or the best man), to celebrate an anniversary – strange, but a fact, that more often people make this gifts for the 50th anniversary than for the 40th! When a person wants to give the unique emotion of a skydive, any important event can be an occasion – a marriage proposal, the birth of a child, International Women’s Day, a successfully passed exam, or as a gesture of gratitude.
2. Which service shall I take?
This is completely up to your wish and budget! You can now purchase a voucher with a premium footage or just a jump – when booking a date and time, the receiver can add video or choose a higher altitude. The same if you or another friend later decide to join – when booking the date, they can indicate that they will be with a friend(s) – this way they will benefit from our discounts for two or three, and the additional payment can be made on the spot.
3. Gift – surprise
If you want to give a surprise gift and bring the recipient directly to the dropzone, there are two options: The first is to purchase a gift voucher to give in the car upon arrival, for example, booking the date and time in advance with the voucher number. The other is to make a booking for a specific day and time, paying only the deposit, and paying the remaining amount on site (warn us so that we do not ask the jumper for the additional payment). Usually, those who have reached the dropzone do not refuse to jump, but if it turns out that this is not the right moment (or rarely, but happens – it is not the right gift), keep in mind that for the blocked time and places we will keep 40 leva (the deposit or part of the prepaid voucher).
4. Better gift for him or for her?
Skydiving is definitely an original gift for both a man or a woman. Gender is not as important as a person’s attitude – our jumpers are almost 50/50 of both sexes, with ages ranging from 10 to 86 years old. Curious fact is that both the youngest and oldest who jumped with us are ladies!
5. Limitations
Although skydiving is a sport for everyone, we must clarify that it is for almost everyone – there are still some limitations. It is important that the jumper (even in tandem) is in good health – adrenaline is contraindicated in some serious illnesses. People with weight over 100 kg cannot jump, as there is a limit for the parachute, the plane, and even the instructor’s waist! People with various physical disabilities can jump with us, but please tell us in advance what exactly it is about – there is no problem with visual and hearing disabilities, but some of the motor disabilities require different equipment and we need to prepare.
