Every effort has been worth it—after three months of dedicated hard work and energy, we are proud to present the outstanding result of our efforts: the renovated Ihtiman Airfield.
We purchased the property in September and immediately began preparations for the winter season. The renovation efforts focused on revitalizing the infrastructure, including the runway, adjacent apron, taxiways, hangar building, landing areas, and parking lot.
The runway, measuring 600 meters in length and 24 meters in width, has been completely resurfaced with new asphalt and markings, providing enhanced comfort and technical support for skydiving and aviation activities.
This achievement would not have been possible without all of you—our trusted customers, the tireless efforts of our team, and the favorable autumn weather. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported us, enabling us to grow and make dreams take flight under the best conditions at our very own airfield.
In 2012, we began our skydiving journey at Ihtiman Airport, renting premises and a hangar for our small business and one of our four-seater aircrafts. As our operations grew, with more tandem passengers and skydivers, we relocated in late 2017 to the larger airfield Radomir /Sofia West Airport. There, we established a base and welcomed our six-seater turbine aircraft, though we were still operating as tenants.
Now, in our 10th anniversary year, we are overjoyed to call Ihtiman Airfield—where it all began—our own home. Thanks to your incredible support, it has been transformed into a modern center for skydiving and adventures in the sky!
