Skydive Sofia is the largest dropzone in Bulgaria, developing skydiving for over 10 years.
Whether you’re making your first tandem jump with a professional instructor, learning to skydive on your own, or putting on your parachute for the thousandth time, we have something for you.
Our mission is to provide the best experience for every customer through personal attention and to ensure that Skydive Sofia is synonymous with professionalism, flawless equipment, and the highest safety standards. Founded in 2012 by two experienced skydivers, Dragomir Nedkov and Hristo Kilikchiev, the company now employs over 20 highly qualified, skydiving-enthusiast staff members and organizes more than 10,000 jumps annually. We also offer autogyro, airplane, and weight-shift aircraft flights for those who prefer to land with the aircraft.

THE PLANE
Our smiling Cessna 206 PT6 airplane will bring you to the highest jump altitude in Bulgaria, 4,200 meters in just 12 minutes. This turboprop plane with a high wing and a side sliding door for jumping can comfortably accommodate six people, with flights lasting 20 minutes.
The specially designed aircraft climbs quickly, making its fuel consumption more efficient and significantly reducing its carbon footprint. It meets green standards and complies with strict European noise regulations.

THE DROPZONE
We are located at the Ihtiman airfield, just 50 minutes from Sofia via the Trakia Highway. Our facility features two landing zones covering a total of 50 hectares, convenient parking, and waiting areas where you can observe the departing planes and landing parachutes. We offer coffee, refreshing drinks, and snacks, and there is also a restaurant and rooms for accommodation on the airfield premises.
