Rating courses
Make your hobby a profession
Skydive Sofia is a drop zone licensed by the United States Parachute Association. All the courses we offer are conducted according to USPA regulations.
We also follow the regulations of the British Parachute Association and the Bulgarian Skydiving Association.
With us, you can build a parachuting career from a coach to instructor examiner.
In addition to courses for obtaining A, B, C, and D licenses, you can also receive a rating for tandem or AFF instructor.
Every season, we organize canopy control courses suitable for everyone – from those who have just completed their AFF training to skydivers with thousands of jumps who want to start jumping with a smaller canopy or begin swooping.
We also offer specialized rigging courses – if you want to learn to rig not only your main parachute, but also your spare one and make small repairs, or at least know when something is wrong.

Relative work
The Swiss instructors Andy and Alan will be with us again at the end of June for two- and three-way relative work course.
Coach course
During the season we also plan two pedagogical courses for new coaches ready to grow as instructors.
Internationally certified instructors
Apart from Hristo Kilikchiev, Hristo Kilikchiev, who is the only one certified by USPA in the Balkans tandem examiner, every year we also welcome international examiners and instructors.
Ernesto Gainza is a three-time Guinness record holder who jumped with the smallest parachute in the world – as big as a bed-sheet. He is one of the biggest names in the world of professional skydiving and a good friend of ours, and we have the pleasure of having him come to teach courses every year.
