Ihtiman Airfield is a privately licensed airfield located in a strategic location – 50 km east of the capital Sofia and 100 km from Plovdiv, with an easy and fast connection from the Trakia highway.
The area is extremely beautiful, near the Iskar dam and with a wonderful view of the majestic Rila mountain and the ski slopes of Borovets.
The airfield has a 565-meter newly renovated runway, a hangar and an aircraft maintenance base.
Here you can find also piloting courses, scenic flights with autogyro, planes and weight-shift aircraft.
For the convenience of all visitors there is a restaurant and accommodation rooms.

Ihtiman airfield offers three types of accommodation rooms for its guests – skydvers, pilots, mechanics and their friends. All rooms are located on the second floor with views of the runway and direct access to the hangar and training rooms.
“First class” rooms – 60 BGN/ person /night
Luxurious spacious rooms with two single beds queen size or a bedroom plus additional bed and a separate living area. There is also air conditioning, TV, private bathroom.
“Business class” rooms – 40 BGN/ person /night
Private single room with queen size bed, with shared bathrooms and toilets, located on the first floor.
“Economy class” rooms – 40 BGN/ person /night
Spacious rooms with four queen size beds for group accommodation, with shared bathrooms and toilets located on the first floor.
